Shortflatt Tower is an exclusive Wedding Venue in one of Northumberland's most beautiful country manor houses.

Set in a private estate with enchanting walled gardens and ancient woodland, we offer unbridled elegance in an area of natural beauty.


We are looking for an experienced Wedding Sales and Events Coordinator who will work to ensure the smooth running of the sales and event coordination functions of the business.


We are looking for someone to assist the head of weddings with all elements of wedding planning, coordinating meetings and payments, onsite accommodation bookings, catering and proactively responding to enquiries using our systems.


The successful applicant should have a passion for weddings and events, previous experience within the industry and of course, lots of commitment and enthusiasm.


This individual will need to be confident and take pride in ensuring the wellbeing, satisfaction, and comfort of our customers, working with them to establish a highly personalised style of service.

Responsibilities:


  • Plan, coordinate, and execute weddings and related events from start to finish
  • Meet with clients to discuss their vision, budget, and preferences for the wedding
  • Assist in selecting and booking venues, vendors, and service providers
  • Create detailed timelines and schedules for the wedding day
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the wedding day, including setup, decorations, and logistics
  • Manage and resolve any issues or emergencies that may arise during the event
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
  • Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance the wedding experience

Essential:


  • Previous experience in event planning or wedding coordination is essential
  • Knowledge of the wedding industry, including venues, vendors, and trends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients, vendors, and staff members
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the wedding are executed flawlessly
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations with professionalism

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
