Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established organisation based in Preston as a Production Operative on a full-time permanent basis.

Summary
Operating the equipment and all of its affiliated processes - preparing raw materials, packaging, unloading, packing and labelling goods.

Duties & Responsibilities

Transporting materials onsite
Operating equipment according to process instructions
Completing initial testing of products
Checking labels and packaging materials
Performing all operations in compliance with expected quality standards
Adhere to legal and company EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) rules
Maintaining cleanliness in designated area
Carrying out any other duties as requested

Skills and experience

Experience within a similar environment
Knowledge of common software programs (MS office)
Manual work and lifting is required for this role
Flexible to work shifts

Must have good English comprehension to be able to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions
