Description

Fortel are sourcing experienced Joiners and Steel fixers to work on Infrastructure project with one of our premier clients. It is a great opportunity for individuals to progress their careers and shape our sustainable transport infrastructure.

To be considered you must have:

CSCS blue card
Have a minimum of 23 years

Duties include (but not limited to):

Making measurements and preparing the site for steel works
Designing and installing steel structures and mesh.
Using hand and power tools to cut and bend steel bars and mesh.
Fitting spacers and supports
Joining steel reinforcement bars, footings and griders by welding or with clips or wires.
Select and also evaluate materials for potential defects
Reading and interpreting designs to meet specifications set by Architects
Liaising with clients, suppliers and other tradesmen
Following all standards projects
