JOB PURPOSE:
As a Process Technologist you will work on new and existing products, translating development ideas into repeatable quality products, running production trials and generating factory trial data on the system and resolving issues in a timely manner before launch.
This Job is Majority factory based and will require a level of manual lifting.

Ideally degree educated in a food or science discipline.
Be able to build a close working relationship with Production, Technical, Planning, Commercial, Finance and Engineering, enabling the smooth running of trials.
A good level of English with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with projects in line with the critical path, internal and customer criteria resolving any issues in a timely manner before launch.
Carry out trials on new and existing products, ensuring all aspects of the product are acceptable and can be manufactured in line with business expectations
Ensure all relevant data is collected from trials, documented and communicated with all relevant department throughout the trial process.
Carry out and document organoleptic analysis on new products.
Build and develop internal processing systems in line with business requirements.
Ensure food safety, legality and quality standards are met for all new and existing product development
Assess products against the current HACCP plan, reporting into the technical team.
Communicate feedback from factory trials to all relevant departments to ensure full communication throughout the business.
Support the Senior Process Technologist and Process Development Manager with launches and Pre-Pros.
This is a very hand on position and is majority factory based with some office work required.

This Position is Sunday to Thursday 8am - 4pm. With Training taking place during Monday to Friday for the first 6 weeks. A level is flexibility will be required during launches outside the regular working hours with some early morning starts or late evening finishes
