Our client, a national not for profit organisation, are looking for a switched on, self-motivated individual with excellent personal and executive assistant experience and excellent research and coordination skills to support their newly created COO.


The EA will be required to support the busy and varied role of the COO, effectively managing the day to day tasks as well as proactively engaging and supporting with a number of projects that come from their wide portfolio.

Working alongside the EA to CEOthis role forms part of the core c-suite, a decidedly non-hierarchical office this is an amazing opportunity to take on a more creative role than your standard board PA.

You will have overall responsibility for ensuring the quality and timeliness of work fromthe COOs office and will be to liaise seamlessly with teams and officials across the organisation.

As an organisation, the charity adopted a "be where our service users need us" practice.

This has meant that remote working for their support and executive staff is standard and they will do 2-4 days per month in office, primarily split between the Londonand Birmingham offices.

This mean that in the role of EA you will need to be more intuitive in supporting the COO and you will be an excellent, clear and concise communicator.


This is a research and strategy lead environment, where both business intelligence and company ethos form an integral part of the operations delivery and wider board strategy.

You will be at the heart of this environment and forma key part of the deliverynationwide.

In order to hit the ground running you will need to have:

  • Some strong PA or EA experience, ideally but not necessary at board level
  • Research and presentation skills
  • Business awareness and the ability, and desire, to understand all parts of business operations
  • The ability to support a highly professional, diligent, empathetic and intelligent COO
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
  • First class interpersonal skills, able to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels
Salary is in the range of £35,000 to £40,000 with
2-4 days per month in office.
