£20,000 - £21,000 for the duration of the apprenticeship, increasing to £25,000 - £27,000 if they were to continue with us after the apprenticeship is completed

Brief job description:


Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a digital marketing apprentice with London Mutual, credit union, one of the UK's largest credit unions based in London, Peckham.


Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Delivering innovative digital marketing campaigns, focused on growing our membership and promoting uptake of our loans and current accounts.
  • Daytoday management of our social media accounts, including (but not limited to), Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, building reach and followers.
  • Working with the Head of Business Development to design paidfor PPC and Display advertising campaigns and ensuring that our digital marketing budget is spent effectively.
  • Using design skills to produce highquality creative content such as graphics, animations, printed reports and website landing pages for use across our channels.

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)


Skills Required:


  • A confident communicator, with strong verbal and written English language skills, and the ability to write copy that is appropriate for a range of audiences.
  • Creative skills in graphic design or similar
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with tenacity, a strong sense of motivation and a desire for personal development and to see the business succeed.
  • A social media user, with an enthusiasm for digital culture, wider trends, and an understanding of how they relate to the Business.
  • High standards of professional and personal conduct, committed to treating our customers fairly, and ensuring that the Credit Union's legal and regulatory obligations are met.

Personal qualities:


  • Basic knowledge of planning and running paidfor digital marketing (CPC) campaigns.
  • Some knowledge of analytical and statistical tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, Data Studio or similar.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Digital Marketer, with training in how to:

  • Source, plan, develop and deploy digital content across a variety of channels including your website and social media.
  • Execute multichannel digital campaigns using online platforms.
  • Monitor and evaluate channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools.
  • Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement.
