An exciting and new opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join the Tower Hamlets Community Extended Primary Care Team as a Band 5 Lead Administrator on a 6 months fixed term contract.
The individual will be responsible and oversee the day to day management of the admin team and provision of a comprehensive high quality, effective administration service to the EPCT.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team the post holder will be responsible for the day to day administration management of the service and to provide senior administrative support to the service operational manager.
Post holder must portray a professional image that is consistent with the Trust's values and behaviors and is expected to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
Able to work with little supervision on a day-to- day basis within agreed Trusts policies and in the absence of the designated director/manager to make informed decisions, where appropriate, based on a good understanding of work styles, nature of work and priorities.
Responsibility for ensuring that full administrative support is provided to the EPCT, including cover when necessary.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Trust's Corporate Business Guidelines by implementing and maintaining effective office systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement as appropriate and implementing change, making maximum the use of technology with the ultimate aim of achieving a paperless office.
To act as departmental liaison person for contact with the IT department for technological network and systems matters and repairs of IT equipment.
To be responsible for keeping a log for the management of all mobile phones, laptops and desktop computer equipment that has been distributed to staff in the department requesting return as appropriate.
To support other senior staff in the service area in the use of Oracle and budget monitoring sheets.
To answer the telephone, dealing with queries in person, generic inbox, room bookings, setting up and updating courses and learning outcomes on the trust systems.

To conduct annual appraisal and management supervision meetings ensuring that personal, professional and training needs are identified and met in line with Trust policy and Directorate objectivesEnsure compliance of Trust Human Resources policies, including monthly absence monitoring and annual leave.
To be responsible for dealing with personnel issues, staff grievances, performance and capability management in line with human resources policies and procedures.
This role is key in the delivery of operational performance and supporting the admin team and our clinical colleagues to perform to a very high standard.
We require an effective independent worker who equally works well within a team environment, with excellent communication skills and who visibly enjoys the challenges that this role will provide; a good understanding of IT and EMIS experience is preferred.
To oversee and support with the coordination of servicing of medical devices and maintaining up to date records of asset registers.
