Penguin Recruitment is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a Consultant/Senior Consultant to join a world-renowned Engineering firm as part of their growing Environment and Consents nationwide team.

This post represents a challenging and exciting opportunity to manage and deliver planning and environmental inputs to a range of projects for a wide client base, across projects in low carbon and hydrogen, energy generation and transmission, minerals, waste,and transport.

The role will include working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver inputs across all project lifecycles from early strategy development, through feasibility/optioneering to detailed design and assessment.

Other duties will include:

Interface with the wider project stakeholders including the client's engineering team, consultant leads, lawyers etc
Representing the business and its clients to key stakeholders, local authorities, regulators, and industry as required
Providing clients with the appropriate technical and consenting advice for their projects
A degree or equivalent in Town Planning or relevant environmental discipline
Membership of the RTPI or IEMA, or working towards
Demonstratable experience in the UK
A full, clean driving licence (ideally)
