Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Wood Machinist to join our team as a Senior Wood Machinist.

As a Senior Wood Machinist, you will be responsible for setting, programming, trouble shooting, and operating various CNC wood machines, including Weinig and SCM multi-head moulders to manufacture Engineered Wood Flooring, ensuring safe and efficient production operations.


Duties & Key Responsibilities:


  • Programming, setting and operating CNC wood machines.
  • Reading and working to technical drawings.
  • Working to tight tolerances, producing high precision work.
  • Maintain 6S standard for all production areas.
  • Adhere to all requirements of the company Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
  • Support environmental sustainability initiatives within the company.
  • Previous experience as a Wood Machinist (Preferably Time Served).
  • Have a minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grade C or higher.
  • Forklift licence an advantage (training can be provided).

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Offer:


  • Wage up to £32k per year depending on experience.
  • Permanent, fulltime role.
  • Day shift (40hour week).
