About The Role:

***At EKFB we're shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe's latest high speed rail projects.

We're recruiting for an
Accommodation Works Site Supervisor to join our Route Wide Accommodation Works team. This role will be working throughout our scope of works.

Site locations are in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and you will need to be able to travel to these various locations.


This fast-paced role role will require you to undertake technical engagement with landowners and their agents, to ensure that Accommodation Works requirements are scoped, agreed and designed to mitigate impact on the programme and enable positive relationships with affected landowners.

This will require close working with the Agricultural Liaison Officers, HS2 Ltd representatives and Valuers.


Responsibilities will include coordination with other project contractors to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach is taken to deliver the Accommodation Works.

You will also need to coordinate Accommodation Works design and construction between landowners, design team and our Project Delivery teams.

You will be responsible for delivering the Works in line with the budget. You must monitor and report progress against a commercial baseline and ensure change management procedures are captured when required.


The role will require you to be responsible for developing and implementing the EKFB assurance progress for the Works, ensuring evidence is collected, managed, and accepted by client and stakeholders as Works are completed.

Your contribution will be needed toward valuation of Accommodation Works with commercial functions and HS2 Valuers.

You will interface with Planning Consents Manager and Highways Design Coordinator in relation to consent and approval requirements for Accommodation Works.

We expect you to take ownership of specific Undertakings and Assurances related to accommodation works and land issues. We will also need assistance in preparing tender enquiries for supply chain procurement.


Engagement and building relationships with Strategic partners and Supply Chain to ensure interfaces are managed and early integration with EKFB's policies & procedures, programme requirements and hand back assurance needs.

You will be responsible for developing and updating a detailed schedule of Works for the Section. Providing regular performance feedback on the schedule against Project milestones and internal and Contract KPI's.

Supervision of subcontractors will be required as well as creating, checking, approving and/or authorising RAMs, ITP's, WPP' etc.


About You:

***- You must hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle, this role will require you to travel to different locations

  • You must hold an engineering degree with substantial experience, preferably with design management and site experience
  • You must hold a SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, and familiar with rural / farming matters
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Ability to impact and influence stakeholders
