Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

We're changing how we operate with a move to more inhouse and onshore operations, as part of this new project we're looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the team to assist in the development and deployment of our new infrastructure


You'll be key in:


  • Delivering day to day support and administration of Cloud Infrastructure services
  • Building key relationships with operational teams both within the UK and US, across DevOps, GRP Businesses and the Service Desk teams
  • You'll be managing the general health and maintenance of cloud services and ensuring its build, deployment, automation and security technologies are inline with best practice
  • Providing expertise and support across the MS Cloud and associated products
  • Managing, supporting and responding to escalated cases inline with Service Level Agreements
  • Evaluating, Testing and installing critical security updates for the environment
  • Integrating existing solutions into the new infrastructure and consult on development projects

About you:


  • You'll have strong handson knowledge of MS Azure Cloud deployment and associated MS Identity and Access Management products (Azure AD, Conditional Access Policies and Active Directory Domain Services)
  • Able to competently support and manage Azure Resources
  • Demonstratable knowledge of Windows Server Administration, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Able to Script competently within PowerShell coupled with the ability to learn, adapt and validate new solutions / features provided by cloud services.
