Digital Tonic are thrilled to be working with a full-service Digital Agency on their search for a Lead Communications Specialist to lead the development of communications and content strategies for a variety of projects and retainer clients in the consumer,non-profit, and public sectors.

You will report to the Client Services Director and will be the first point of contact for advice and guidance on clients' communications needs, in addition to leading and mentoring a team of two Communications Specialists.

Your passion and knowledge will enable you to spark ideas among clients about how to deliver value through engagement, as well as assisting them in understanding the behaviours of their target audiences, and developing evidence-based digital communicationsstrategies.

As a member of the leadership team, you will also collaborate with other team leads to ensure that the agency runs seamlessly.

This is a hybrid role based in the centre of Bristol, with 2-3 days in the office. If you are a confident and experienced digital communications planner or content strategist looking for an opportunity to help shape the future of a department, this roleis for you

What experience we're looking for

Previous experience as a content strategist or digital communications planner, spanning public and private sector brands.
Experience in designing and leading workshops
A high standard of writing, with a background in copywriting and content for both B2B and consumer brands.
Worked within an agency environment (is desirable)

How you'll be rewarded for your experience
