    Planning Director Role

    About the Role

    We are seeking a strategic and experienced Town Planning Director to lead our diverse portfolio of projects in London. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing renewables, residential, and mixed-use developments, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Oversee planning projects across multiple sectors, driving successful delivery and growth.
    2. Manage our existing project portfolio, providing strategic advice to clients and guiding project teams.
    3. Prepare and submit planning applications, reports, and related documentation.
    4. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high service standards.
    5. Stay up-to-date with planning regulations and policy changes.
    6. Lead and mentor junior planners, fostering a collaborative team environment.
    7. Represent us at client meetings, local authority consultations, and public events.

    Requirements

    1. A degree in Town Planning or a related field accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
    2. Proven experience in directing planning projects, ideally in renewables, residential, and mixed-use sectors.
    3. Full RTPI membership and Chartered status (MRTPI), but not essential.
    4. Strong leadership and project management skills.
    5. Excellent communication and client management abilities.
    6. A proactive approach to solving complex planning challenges and meeting deadlines.

    Salary:

    £80,000 - £120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
