Job Role

Imperial Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Officer to join our client in Worksop on a temporary 3-6 month contract.

Hours and Pay
Monday - Friday. 37 hours per week. Between 7:30am - 6:00pm

£27,514 - £30,095 pro rata DOE

Hybrid working 50% in office/on site and 50% WFH.

Key Tasks:

To prevent injury to personnel and damage to equipment.
Ensuring the requirements regarding health, safety and welfare are met.
Selecting and using PPE and clothing.
Audits.
Inspections.
Provide advice to managers on risk assessments and policies.
Investigate and report incidents in line with RIDDOR.
Any other safety issues.

Requirements:

NEBOSH National General Certificate in Safety and Health (or equivalent) with the ability to successfully achieve the NEBOSH Diploma.
Member of IOSH
To be able to work and communicate effectively as part of a team.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work under mínimal direct supervision.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Full driving licence.
Strong IT skills with the ability to createand interpret computerised reports and statistical data.
Experienced in giving advice to managers on the extent of and methods of complying with their Health & Safety roles.
Experience in working within a health and safety management environment.
