Care Assistant

£10.50 Weekdays and £11.00 Weekends + £0.30p Per mile Travel


Duties:

• Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or in a care facility
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with meal preparation and feeding
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
• Compassionate and caring nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or care facilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
