Industrial Recruitment Solutions are looking for experienced Warehouse Operative for our busy client in the Wednesbury area

Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
Move and stack materials
General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
Use common warehouse management software
Receive/process shipments
Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
Rotate floor stock
Spot lorries and allocate stock as needed
Keep production lines supplied and packaging materials as needed
Use of overhead cranes and bandsaws

Key Responsibilities:

Unloading incoming steel deliveries and putting away steel products in stock locations.
Ensuring all material is labelled, and material identity is maintained throughout the process.
Picking steel orders and process according to the requirements of 'Pick Tickets' and 'Cutting Dockets'.
Carrying out all the necessary checks to ensure that the customer order is fulfilled to their requirements.
Confirming the picking of orders and relabel with customer labels.
Completing all necessary paperwork according to the Quality System.
Loading delivery vehicles with customer orders.
Serving customers who collect their own orders.
Taking reasonable care for the health & safety of yourself and others that may be affected by your acts or omissions.
Reporting any incidents, which has led or could lead to accident or injury and raise health and safety questions immediately if they occur.
Cooperating in the investigation of incidents/accidents to enable measures to be taken to prevent recurrences.
