They create, design, and manufacture high quality, robustand innovative automated laboratory equipment for academic, pharmaceutical and biotechnology research.Production Technician Role:
Looking for a self motivated Production Technician to join help with the day and contributing to the continuous improvements in all aspects of the Manufacturing Production area.
Production Technician Responsibilities:
- Ensure overall build quality throughout the process
- Reloading consumables
- Troubleshooting machinery faults
- Working with PLC controlled equipment
- Good inspection of raw materials
- Assist QC area when required
- Maintain production area ensuring it is kept clean and tidy
- Implementation of Lean manufacturing methods as appropriate
Production Technician Requirements:
- At least 5 years' successful experience in a high technology manufacturing or assembly business
- Experience of working in a modern manufacturing or service environments with good systems
- Experience of working on challenging engineering/manufacturing problems
- Professional Engineering Qualifications eg. HNC, BTec or relevant experience
- Good team player and communication skills working with colleagues and other organisations
