Are you looking forward to work in Community? Here is an opportunity for you to work as Team Manager in Violence Reduction Team within Safer Communities.

The Violence Reduction Team (VRT) takes a multi-agency approach to breaking the cycle of involvement in group related violence with contextual safeguarding informing practice

The role will pay up to £33.81 per hour depending on your location and this may be negotiable.


Requirement for this role include:


  • To oversee, manage and support the development and the delivery of the Initiative providing an effective and efficient support service to victims, those at risk of offending and those that have offended.
  • To quality assure assessments by demonstrating the ability to analyse complex data, balance public protection, safeguarding and broader development issues.
  • To assist in the contract monitoring of the Violence Reduction Team and projects including the development of specifications and the submission of data as and when required, albeit at least quarterly.
  • To lead and chair multiagency meetings in order to manage risk and contextual harm.

  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Having excellent knowledge of criminal justice legislation particularly the Crime and Disorder Act.
Also related fields including ETE, housing linked to criminogenic need

  • Able to drive car and hold a UK Driving License
