Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best price and terms for goods and services
  • Monitor inventory levels and make purchasing decisions accordingly
  • Collaborate with other our site team and project managers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Manage the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Develop and implement strategies for costeffective purchasing decisions
  • Manage contracts / terms with suppliers to ensure we are buying materials at the best possible prices
  • Raising purchase and subcontract orders using CIS software
  • Assist Managers with procurement schedules


You may also be someone within the electrical contracting industry who's looking for a career changes and looking to be more office based.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with vendors
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous relationships with local wholesalers and suppliers desirable
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary package, and 24 days holiday plus bank holidays,


Salary:
£26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
