Hassocks - scarcity of public transport

An Assistant Plant Area Manager is required for Hunters' plant nursery client, to assist with the day to day management of the plant area.

Full Time - Core day time hours - alternate weekend working i.e. Wk1 = 6 day week / Wk2 = 4 day week.

Assistant Plant Manager - duties

Assisting the plant area manager with plant buying, organisation of colleagues, rotas & breaks, goods in and quality control checks
Ensuring that you have a good knowledge of all plants available from the centre and can advise customers correctly
Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers at all times
Responding promptly to customer enquiries
High standards of plant care and merchandising presentation
Ensuring that all plants in your care are always watered correctly and no plants are left over or under watered according to their needs
