The Foundation has an executive team of 38. You will work within the Resources team alongside colleagues, in particular the Funding team. There are 12 trustees who oversee the work of the Foundation via regular board meetings and committees.

We are recruiting a Funding Operations Administrator on a 12 month contract.

Purpose of job:

The post will contribute to the delivery of the Foundation's strategy by providing administrative support to the Funding Operations Manager, and the Funding team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Foundation's funding process.


Key Responsibilities:


To support the Funding team:

  • To provide administrative support to the funding team including: database support, convening and events support.
  • To provide administrative and secretariate support for internal and external meetings including: compiling papers, minuting.
  • To monitor the funding pipeline/portfolio, generate reports and ensure the accuracy of data.
  • To respond to queries from applicants and funding partners.
  • To be a key contact between the Foundation and the Involving Young People Collective.
  • To deputise for the Funding Operations Manager in their absence.
  • To gather learning and to contribute to the development of funding team processes and activities.
  • To undertake any other duties in support of the Foundation's business as may reasonably be required.
To be an active member of the Resources team:

  • To provide cover on the Foundation's front desk including: answering calls, greeting guests.
  • To undertake any other duties in support of the Foundation's work as may reasonably be required, including attending events.

Skills and Experience

  • IT experience (including Office 360 programmes, Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management system).
  • Experience in an administrative role working as part of a team.
  • Organised, effective at prioritising and managing a number of activities simultaneously, good time management skills.
  • Able to work flexibly and manage a demanding workload.
  • Able to work quickly, calmly and accurately.

  • Self-motivated, comfortable working with reduced supervision, while also being a flexible team player.
