TPF Recruitment are assisting a successful firm of chartered accountants, based in Oxted, in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.

The role of Senior Accountant in this modern firm will be mainly general practice work with thepotential to get involved with a bit of audit.

You will be based from their Oxted offices where the train station and parking is nearby.

As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for dealing with your own portfolio of limited company clients and assistingmore junior members of staff.

Some other responsibilities will be:

Work with the experienced senior management team and Partners to support a diverse portfolio of clients within a growing business in a professional and timely manner.
Preparation of Year End statutory accountants
Extensive support to the portfolio of clients
Help supervising and supporting junior staff and delegation of workload
Identifying tax and accounting issues and making recommendations to clients accordingly
Personal Tax returns
Work as part of a team to achieve set business targets
Support junior members of staff
Provide any additional responsibilities as and when required.

Requirements:

You will ideally have 3-5 years experience of working in a practice environment.

You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.

You will ideally have experience working with the following software: CCH, Xero & QuickBooks

Benefits £40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
