Are you an experienced Recruitment Resourcer? Or have you recently completed further education and looking to start a career in Recruitment? If so, this vacancy could be for youWe are a small friendly family run recruitment consultants based in Chorley Town Centre, Lancashire. We have been established for 28 years and recruit solely within the building products industry. We recruit for Manufacturers and Merchants within building products for permanent Sales to Director level vacancies.
Due to continued growth we are looking for an a Recruitment Resourcer or a Apprentice Recruitment Resourcer to join our team, this is a really exciting opportunity to be part of our growth journey We are not your typical recruitment agency in that we work towards a team target not an individual target, you will be very well supported by our highly experienced senior recruitment consultants who have been with the business for a combination of 44 years
- Adding new CVs to database.
- New vacancy creation
- Seeing opportunities and discussing with potential clients the interest in working with Sharples Davies.
- LinkedIn & Social Media development.
- Producing internal literature to a professional standard to share with clients.
- Any other duties which may be required in the capacity of your role. This will include general housekeeping.
- Answering the phone after work hours when calls are diverted to the mobiles from the office.
Key Skills:
People Skills - This is essential as this role involves a high amount of outbound calling. Must be confident to talk to new people and build rapports to understand their career aspirations.
Self-motivated - Due to the business being fast paced it is essential you are able to manage your own time efficiently without the need of assistance.
Work Ethic - The thing that our team has in common is a strong work ethic.
Organisation & Planning Skills - It's important to see the value to the business, see the bigger picture and prioritise workload effectively.
Computer Skills - Word, Excel, and Outlook are the Microsoft programs used. Our CRM HRS will be taught.
Remuneration:
- Base Salary £24,000 £25,000 (If an apprentice this will be discussed at interview)
- Bonus paid on assignment filled
- Discretionary Christmas Bonus

- Mobile Phone or contribution to your own for business use
- 20 Days Holidays + Statutory + Christmas Shutdown (don't need to save holiday typically works out at an additional 5 days) + your Birthday off
