An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team at Pageant Girl as a Social Media and PR Assistant.

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant to be part of our team. We are well established event organisers in the pageant industry.

We organise several national pageants in the UK including Miss International, Miss Teen Great Britain, Miss Galaxy and UK's National Miss.

We also have the prom dress superstore, The Dress Studio.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to help us create a buzz via social media and be hands on in the day-to-day promotion of our events and latest news.

They will need to be confident at using social networking sites, computer literate and be willing to get stuck into what-ever tasks need to be undertaken.

Responsibilities will include:

• Social Media focusing on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and twitter.
• Maintaining social media channels creating and posting content
• Uploading content to various word press websites
• Keeping up to date with trends
• Assistance with the organisation of pageant events

• Media Relations

• Research journalists & media channels

• Administration

• Answer phone, general office duties
• Analysing analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
• Support to The Dress Studio/working on the shop floor during busy periods.

Social Media Marketing Assistant Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.
• Knowledge of analytical tools.
• Creative mindset.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a team.

Microsoft Word and Excel knowledgeExperience of working with wordpress sites is advantageous but not essential

• Knowledge of the pageant industry is not essential but an interest in the events is vital
• 5 GCSE's grade A-C, including English

This is a full-time position (42 hours) with the working days Tuesday to Saturday.

Salary:
£8.00-£11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
