Duties as a General Worker will include any of the following:

Assist tradesmen of all disciplines including mechanical, piping & electrical.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Load, unload, identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans.
Abiltiy to use overhead cranes, once training as been given (Pendant trained).
Basic slinger and rigging for basic lifts
Assist when required with the General Consumables and Welding stores and prepare consumables requisition and issue consumables when required
Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain a tidy workplace & work inline with company procedures and safety standards
Experience with Counterbalance & Sideloader forklifts and have therelevant certification for the plant being operated.

Qualifications/Experience:

Qualifications to use forklift trucks such as FLT & Counterbalance certification for plant being operated.
Overhead Crane pendant operator Cert.
First Aid Cert.
Adhesive wheels trained & Cert.
Manual Handling Awarness.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a busy workshop environment
