We're looking for a
Sub Agent to join our regional civils team based in Doxey, Staffordshire. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities


In the role of Sub Agent you'll be working within our regional civils team, supporting them on the ECW2 (Early Civil Works) contract on HS2 Phase 2a.

This includes highway modification sites ranging from passing bays and road widenings to a new bridge across the M6 at Yarnfield.

Kier are responsible of the detailed design and construction of the these works.

The contract also includes Route wide (new railway line) ecological and environmental surveys and is to be completed by 2024.


Your day to day will include:

  • Manage survey and engineering resource
  • Production of RAMS for selfdelivery works including review of Subcontract RAMS
  • Management of subcontractors
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier other H&S related policies and procedures
  • Support with work relating to financial forecasts, forecast reviews, final cost & value review with Commercial Team

What do we need from you?
This role of Sub Agent is great for you if:

  • Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree)
  • Chartered with ICE or working towards
  • Proven track record in successfully managing a project
  • Management skills (control and management of employees)
  • Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills
