Description
Job description

Road Safety. The biggest factor in altering driver behaviour to make our roads safer is through the delivery of education.

Nottinghamshire Police offers driver awareness courses as an alternative to prosecution for many road traffic offences, including speeding, contravening red lights etcand this assists in the Force meeting it's aims of reducing both fatal and serious injury road traffic collisions.

Courses are held in local venues to support local communities.

The Post holder will be responsible for leading on the design, facilitation and administration of driver offender education courses in line with NDORS* accreditation, with the aim of improving road safety throughout the County.

The post holder will ensure trainers and Nottinghamshire Police remain licenced to deliver the courses, and ensure existing and new venues continue to meet high standards that our customers would expect.
