About us:
Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site.
We are the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges and têxtile inks.
These products are shipped to an Epson warehouse in Germany where they are then distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do, from our Cleanroom environment to our in-house machinery, design and technology improvements from which we use our own Epson 6-axis robots.
Salary:
£23,726
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm
Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm
Job Function:
- Produces daily invoices for shipping, monitors when they will be due for export purposes, liaises with affiliates and resolves any invoice issues. Updates monthly invoicing reports
- Produces import and export freight purchase orders, liaises with the logistics and accounts department for relevant information, resolve freight invoice issues. Updates monthly freight reports
- Updates the inbound materials report and creates the relevant documentation that allows warehouse to book the goods into stock
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare sales invoices to enable shipping
- Work closely with colleagues from different departments to allow for correctly timed invoicing
- Liaise with Japanese counterpart to make sure the invoicing process is completed
- Assist accounts department with month end invoicing tasks
- Create freight purchase orders.
- Collate all relevant information required for freight POs
- Liaise with vendors and other internal departments to resolve any freight PO queries and discrepancies
- Update end of month freight invoice reports
- Daily update of the inbound materials report
- Creation of the documents required for booking goods into stock
- Assist with other production control duties where time allows
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Support export and production planners in creating works orders / deliveries
Skills and attributes required:
- Good Excel skill
- Analytical skills
