About Cairns Counselling:

Cairns registered as a trust with OSCR* in 1994 and became a SCIO** in 2014.

We were established to provide emotional support to adults in need, and our service has grown from humble beginnings to the present day where we provide counselling 6 days a week, including two evenings.

We are proud to have been given the Queens Award for Voluntary service in 2016.

As a well-established service, we are trusted by many professionals and have a long history of enabling change for individuals.

Our strategy is to grow the service further, which in turn has an impact on our costs and fundraising strategy.

As part of that strategy, we are seeking an individual to develop community fundraising, recruit volunteer fundraisers and deliver a communications plan for the service, its clients, and stakeholders.

This is an exciting phase of Cairns' development, where you will work as part of a small team, all working towards the increased availability of counselling to those in need in Aberdeen city and shire.
