Job Description:

People Management

The Team Leader will be responsible for c25 operators and will provide

Skills Matrix Management
Personal Development Reviews
Performance Management

Manufacturing Output

They will contribute to Production Planning, providing a view of manufacturing capacity and capability within the production area and implementing the agreed plan.

They will also be expected to assist in equipment planning for their production area alongside Manufacturing Management.

Housekeeping

Maintaining a clean, clear and safe working production area.
Implementing various housekeeping initiatives.
Carrying out audits of the production area and maintaining an action list for the resolution of any issues that arise.

Skills, Learning and Training

Maintaining their teams Skills Matrices throughout the year.
Highlighting the training needs of the team and creating a training plan.

Health and Safety

The creation of new Risk and COSHH assessments.
Managing Health and Safety within the team.

Quality and Continuous Improvement

Responsible for managing their team to follow and adhere to defined quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Will also receive training in CI as well as there being an expectation to issue CI training to their teams.

Finance

The Team Leader will work with the Manufacturing Manager to contribute towards the budget process.
