HVAC Service Technician
Pertemps Stoke are delighted to be recruiting for a HVAC Service Technician for our new clients based in Stafford.

The role will be to carry out a service on Air Handling Units throughout the UK to meet the needs of each specific customer contract.

Based out of Stafford the role will include working within a team to travel to different sites in company vehicles, with regular overnight stays, weekend work, overtime, and occasional night shifts

Responsibilities of this HVAV Service Technician role are:

  • Travelling throughout the UK in company vehicles, with regular overtime and overnight stays to meet the needs of each specific customer project.
  • Servicing of AHUs, this will consist of changing air filters, reporting of any remedial actions required to keep the unit up to standard, and a general clean. Working environments can be dirty and challenging with various access requirements such as scaffolding,cherry pickers etc.
  • Building strong, sustainable relationships on site with customers by upholding HVDS brand values Clarity, Unity & Excellence. Demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, friendliness, and helpfulness. Exhibiting enthusiasm, willingness, and a positive outlookto internal/external customers.
  • Working in a team of two or three, unsupervised, collaborating effectively to meet project brief on time and within budget, managing own time.
  • Taking initiative in solving problems, demonstrating a 'can do' approach.
  • Full, accurate and on time reporting.

Qualifications required for this HVAC Service Technician role include:

  • Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
  • IPAF, Confined Space & PASMA qualifications are desired but not essential.
  • Full clean UK driving license essential.
  • A good level of physical fitness is required.
  • Full training will be provided.
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to selfmanage
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Positive cando attitude
  • Team player

Working hours/ days:
Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:30

Stafford - regular travel to sites

Permanent


Salary:
£25,740 + overtime
