Salary:
£26,500 - £29,750 pro rata for part time (Grade 5)


What are we looking for?
Futures are looking for a Skills Tutor/Assessor to deliver to adult learners via Adult Education Budget.

This role will be to deliver
Functional Skills Maths and has an essential role in supporting our customers to achieve their learning goals and secure sustainable employment and/or continued career progression in the workplace.


As a Skills Tutor delivering
Functional Skills Maths, you will be an experienced teaching practitioner committed to delivering an outstanding learning experience to all customers.

You will be teaching in a fast-paced environment and will be able to adapt your delivery to meet group and individual learning needs.

In this role you will need to:

  • Support people into sustainable employment through the delivery of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment in a group or individual environment.

You will need to have:


  • Vocational sector qualifications and occupational competence to level
  • Teaching and Assessor qualifications or a willingness to work towards achieving these.
  • Experience of working on Adult Skills programmes
  • Excellent knowledge of awarding body qualification specifications
