Market Operative:

The Market Operative role is responsible for the general cleanliness and security of Council markets, ensuring the day to day operations are carried out to support a trading environment for tenants.

Duties to include general cleanliness and upkeep of the building, to liaise with contractors, support traders and members of the public.

The position requires flexibility to be able to work across Cheshire West and Chester Markets on an adhoc basis.

The role offers a full time vacancy for a Market Operative to work across Winsford and Northwich Markets.

Experience in a customer service role is advantageous to assist traders and members of the public, and a working knowledge of health and safety practices is desirable.
