Fun and Caring Live-in Carer Needed for a Wonderful Couple
Are you a compassionate and dedicated caregiver with a sense of adventure? We have a fantastic opportunity for you We are looking for a live-in carer to support Mr.
About Mr
O:
This retired Army veteran served with the Royal Engineers during the war and was even stationed in Italy. Afterward, he worked for various river boards before retiring in picturesque Devon at the age of 58. Mr.
O has a passion for building and flying radio-controlled aeroplanes, enjoys watching thrilling Grand Prix events, and has quite the talent for drawing.
He used to keep fit by running 3-5 miles during his retirementAbout Mrs
O:
Mrs. O is a remarkable and resilient woman who is currently recovering from some health concerns. She deserves the utmost care and compassion during this time.
With your support, she can regain her strength and independence and continue to share precious moments with her beloved husband.
Responsibilities:
As their live-in carer, you will have a fantastic opportunity to be part of their vibrant lives
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with morning routines to help them start their day off right.
- Supporting their interests and hobbies, such as Mr. O's radiocontrolled aeroplanes and Grand Prix events.
- Preparing delicious and nutritious meals, tailored to their dietary needs and preferences.
- Providing friendly companionship and encouragement for physical activities to keep them active and vibrant.
- Assisting with bedtime routines to ensure they have a comfortable and peaceful night's rest.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy living environment to contribute to their overall wellbeing.
- Being attentive to their needs and providing personalised care.
Requirements:
To be the perfect fit for this wonderful opportunity, you should have:
- Experience in providing exceptional care for elderly individuals, preferably in a live-in setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build a genuine connection with Mr. and Mrs. O.
- Patience, understanding, and compassion to support their unique needs and preferences.
- Flexibility to adapt to their daily routines and provide personalized care.
- The ability to provide reassurance, companionship, and assistance in a warm and empathetic manner.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with Mrs. O and another caregiver, ensuring a supportive team environment.
