ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Foodservice team are stamping out those soggy fries.

Working in partnership with food outlets up and down the UK it's our aim to provide the highest quality produce in a format that helps operators bring people together over the food they love.


Working as part of an experienced team, the Regional Account Executive, (RAE.) will be responsible for securing targeted new business, across a regionally defined area of Foodservice end users.

Encompassing both on and off premise the RAE will cover a diverse mix of independent customers including pubs, restaurants, hotels and takeaways, always ensuring the constant delivery and execution of a best-in-class customer experience.

Reporting into the Customer Development Manager you'll be a part of a successful team and it's your job to.

  • Develop sales opportunities through targeting new business accounts. This should be achieved through range selling across the McCain product portfolio.
  • Develop sales opportunities through developing incremental business. This should be achieved through range selling across the McCain product portfolio.
  • Work to clear sales targets set on a quarterly and/or annual basis. These are in line with the Freetrade sector and overall budgets.
  • Demonstrate and explain each product in a structured approach, to ensure new and existing business is enhanced.
  • Utilise your product and culinary knowledge to provide appropriate solutions to the caterer.
  • Work closely with Regional Distributor teams for sales leads and Represent McCain at Regional Distributor trade days and suitable events to grow network and sales opportunities.
  • Use tools including Salesforce and Category Insights throughout the sales journey to journey plan, execute and evaluate all sales opportunities.
  • Accurately maintain all customer information on CRM system for internal use, field management and analysis.
  • Work closely with Field Sales Team and crossfunctionally with other UK based functions within the business including: Business Manager; Finance; Marketing; Category; Supply Chain; and Customer Service.
  • Occasional travel outside territory including Scarborough, UK to attend meetings.

WHERE WILL I WORK?
This is a home-based role.

Most of your time will be spent out on the road, engaging with current customers, and building new relationships - as well as sussing out new areas and opportunities of growth for foodservice.
