Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team with our B2B in-person and virtual events across a variety of industries.

You will be responsible for designing collateral and generating leads via online and offline direct marketing tactics to drive attendees and sponsorship revenue for our senior-level conferences.

This includes our website, social media, content creation, media partnerships, speakers and other online initiatives.

Working within a small team in a fast-paced environment, the role is varied and will keep you learning daily.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Website Management and Maintenance ensuring it is user and SEOfriendly with updated information
• Content Creation designing social media and website images and articles for promotion through our online marketing channels

• Lead Generation

• Generating relevant leads through social media, partnerships and sourcing, particularly for the sponsorship team
• Social Media and Community
• Maintaining Customer Engagement online (particularly LinkedIn) with interesting topic discussions, active participation in conversations online, as well as repurposing and promoting content

• Analysis and Reporting

• Updating event results and tracking the success of campaigns, proposing ideas to improve results
• Supporting internal departments to achieve project objectives as required

Person specification:

• Bachelor's level education or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Attention to detail, well organised with the ability to prioritise and reassess workload in order to meet changing demands
• Selfmotivated, ability to work under your own initiative
• Creative ability to think around challenges, suggest ideas and new thoughts
• Proven team player need to be able to be relied upon to deliver on time
• Some experience in digital marketing techniques or running social campaigns

Training and Development:

From the moment you join the business, you will receive one-to-one training and development with the Production Director, Sales Director and Marketing Director to ensure you perfect the necessary tools to achieve the business objectives, financial rewards and career goals.

The role will be based in our office at Thorpe Park, Leeds. You may be expected to travel internationally for an event.

£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
