Tazaki Foods Ltd is currently recruiting for an Order Consolidator on a full time basis, to work Monday to Friday from 21:00 - 06:00.
The salary on offer is £28,000 plus 28 days holidays including bank holidays (increasing up to 35 days with length of service), pension auto enrolment with up to 5% Employer contribution, Life Assurance together with continuous developments and long term career prospects as well as social events throughout the year.
The purpose of the Order Consolidator role is to ensure that goods ready for dispatch is safely packed, scanned on system and staged correctly, to be transported and compliant with the food standard regulations.
Key Tasks/ Responsibilities:
- To check that goods are staged / consolidated in the freezer correctly via scanner and are dispatched correctly according to manifests information and box quantities stated on box labels.
- To ensure that goods are packed safely to be transported.
- To assist in vehicles loading and unloading operations.
- To start the vehicle's freezers at the designated times as per management guidance.
- To assist in moving palletized goods or other goods as required and in loading delivery vehicles.
- To only operate LOLER equipment if holding the correct license and with management permission.
- To notify management of any stock discrepancy in customers' orders.
- To notify management of any apparent malfunction of equipment or vehicles.
- To assist in vehicle checks as required.
- To assist in any other warehouse duties as requested.
- To keep the warehouse tidy at all times.
