ABOUT THE ROLE

As Door Ambassador, you will play a key role in being the first positive interaction that a guest has at the hotel.

This includes having an in-depth knowledge of the hotel and city to showcase all it has to offer.

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel's operation and beyond. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a people-person and passionate

As Door Ambassador, key aspects of your role will include:

Greet and escort guests to rooms.
Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property.
Assist with luggage, storage and retrieval.
Supply guests with directions.
Arrange transportation for guests and visitors.
Communicate parking procedures with guests and visitors.
Be a W brand ambassador, ensuring the brand's voice is present in your interactions with guests.
Follow company policies and procedures in reporting accidents and injuries.
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of information shared by guests.
Welcome, acknowledge, anticipate and address guests' needs.
Speak using clear and professional language, using appropriate etiquette.
Use proper manual handling techniques when assisting with luggage.
Perform other reasonable job duties requested by the Manager.

W Edinburgh will bring bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital.

Behind a façade featuring a winding steel ribbon - reflecting the city's festival spirit - this 12-storey structure will be the centerpiece of Nuveen Real Estate's Edinburgh St James Quarter, incorporating retail, leisure and entertainment facilities along with residential apartments.

This W hotel aims to help redefine the city's hospitality landscape.

Accordingly, it'll fuse the brand's signature amenities with modern design and W Happenings, highlighting what's new in design, fashion, music and culture.

The new W hotel will accommodate guests across 244 stylish guestrooms, including 45 suites. While staying here, guests will benefit from the brand's signature Whatever / Whenever service philosophy.

A real highlight of this property will be its rooftop bar and outdoor terrace, pairing exciting cocktails and cuisine with 360-degree views over the historic city.
