Prestigious International bank is seeking Private Banking Assistant to join their existing team.You will be supporting Private Banking Relationship Managers in their day-to-day activities: account opening, amendments and closing, follow up on debit cards/internet banking, AML, and credit tasks.
You must be able to read and speak Arabic fluently
Key responsibilities
- Handle and manage client relationship transfers between the banks Retail and Private Banking departments.
- Debit cards: ensure timely order of debit cards, activation, cancellation, activation, and handle all fraud investigations and refunds.
- Internet banking: Assist customers to register to internet banking, activate their registration, unblock their access, and answer any query related to this service.
- Periodically or as deemed necessary, communicate to customers all pertinent information on the status of their funds.
- Always preserve customer confidentiality, paying particular attention to the security of documentation and communications. Also, adherence to instructions for safeguarding information and not disclosing any information about customers to a third party without the customer's written approval, or otherwise in compliance with legal/statutory requirements.
- Adhere to banks policies such as Financial Crime Policies and Procedures.
- Perform duties with reasonable skill and diligence.
- Work closely with relationship managers in other adhoc client and bank related tasks.
Qualification:
- University degree in Accounting/Economics/Business Admin.
Experience:
- Up to 3 years of banking experience
- Good understanding of cultural sensitivities and issues
- Sound knowledge and understanding of financial markets
