Are you looking to build a career in digital communications and marketing? We work with our customers and communities to change lives, and you could help us tell our story and enhance our brand through engaging online content.

What's the role?

As part of Watford Community Housing's Communications and Marketing team, you will help us share success stories, news and information about the valuable work we do - from building desperately needed affordable housing to delivering community initiatives and high-quality housing services - through our website, digital newsletters and social media channels.

This is a great opportunity for a new graduate or anyone looking to take the next step in their digital communications and marketing career.

You'll have the chance to develop your existing skills and gain a wealth of experience in a wide variety of disciplines across a range of channels - including content creation, website management and analytics.

You'll help us to enhance our approach to digital marketing through innovative use of social media and the development of our website.

You will also work with us to create compelling internal communications campaigns, keeping our colleagues informed of the latest company news and key developments within the organisation, and ensuring that our intranet website provides a comprehensive and engaging resource for our staff.

What are we looking for?
You will be customer-focused, with the ability to interact empathetically with a wide variety of people.

You'll have an excellent grasp of written English and an understanding of how to tailor your writing appropriately for different people and across a range of channels.

You might have a background in marketing or digital communications, and knowledge of the housing or construction sectors would be a distinct advantage.

However, this would also be a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career to make their mark.

What can we offer you?

How we work
We are committed to embracing the most positive aspects of agile working.

We take a blended approach to how we work, so that colleagues have the flexibility to strike the right balance between working in our communities, in our shared spaces and remotely.

With digital technology at the heart of our work, teams and individuals are empowered to decide the best way to meet the needs of their role.

How to apply

The closing date is Monday 21 August, (but please note
we reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we receive a large response).
