An
IEPA is responsible for conducting an End Point Assessment of an Apprentices Learning, set to the Hospitality Industry standard regulations.

The role is completely freelance and work caseload is provided on an ad-hoc basis. Perfect for someone who wants to do something different every now and then


We need Assessors for the following apprenticeship standards across various regions in England:

  • Hospitality Team Member
  • Hospitality Supervisor
  • Culinary Skills
  • Commis Chef
  • Chef De Partie

What does an
IEPA look like?
It can be anyone who has or is working in the Hospitality Industry in a role relevant to the Apprenticeships we offer, someone who knows what good looks like and can articulate this clearly.


The role of the
IEPA is to remain independent at all times during the End-point Assessment process so that they can provide a robust, quality assessment outcome based on the stipulations set out in the assessment plan.

EPA activities will be quality assured by the Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).

Assessments will be conducted onsite or remotely (as applicable), on dates agreed with apprentices and employers. Independent end-point assessors will record and submit the EPA outcomes, with clear justifications for the grading decisions.


Key Activities

  • Take part in regular training and standardisation activities, associated with the role of independent endpoint assessor for this EPA
  • Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing, relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • Follow the protocols set out in centre specifications, assessment materials and quality assurance protocols, relating to the EPAs.
  • Report all risks and issues encountered during the endpoint assessment to the IQA, including any suspected malpractice/maladministration.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to understand and respond to the individual needs and circumstances of employers/apprentices.
  • Experience of producing clear, accurate and concise written reports
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Analytical, critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written.

Availability

  • Flexibility to travel within the UK, regional only i.e. North West England, South West England.
  • Driving Licence
