Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Specialist Mental Health Dietitian to join our friendly team.

You will be responsible for a varied clinical caseload providing a specialist dietetics service to our mental health inpatient units including acute admissions, rehabilitation, forensics, older peoples services, as well as CAMHs.

You will support service users with a variety of physical and mental health conditions including nutrition support, enteral feeding and the management of long term health problems.

The post holder will also have the opportunity to be involved in quality improvement projects, staff training, audits, research activities and pathway development.

Experience of working in a mental health setting would be desirable although not essential. A working knowledge of behaviour change and motivational interviewing would be beneficial.
