We are actively looking for a Mechanical Fabrication Supervisor to support our Fabrication team at Kane.


Responsibilities

  • Manage Revit modelling a number of construction projects
  • Manage BIM Process for a number of construction projects
  • Assist with information management across a number of construction projects
  • Take responsibility for own work
  • Understand and work to Kane Group procedures and standards including all BIM documentation
  • Understand and work to Design Team schematics
  • Fully compliant in coordination process, be aware of design rules etc
  • Attend internal design meetings
  • Issue drawings to set deadlines
  • Review status's given to own drawings
  • Understand and work to dates within IRS
  • Provide help for new staff, help with their training

Qualifications

Essential

  • 5 GCSE's (Grades A-C) Including Math and English
  • Level 3 City & Guilds Plumbing

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Pipefitting/welding experience or Welding experience
  • Will possess an understanding of market rates for labour & installation, as well as various products and methods of installation in order to collate and compare cost effective prefabricated solutions

Desirable

  • Previous experience with in a supervisor/managerial role

Abilities & Skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload. Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands.
  • Capacity to work independently with limited supervision
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels.
  • To be highly organised with good planning and timemanagement skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal with good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • To be flexible and work as part of a team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
  • Must be very 'hands on' with Can do attitude
