We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Development Finance team for the East region, helping to deliver new homes for private sale and affordable housing.
This region is a growth area for Clarion Housing Group and Latimer,our development arm, and includes the flagship Colchester East project which will deliver up to 9,000 homes.
What will you be doing?
You will be an integral part of the development finance team and the first point of contact for investment and finance related matters across all of our development schemes for private sale, affordable housing and commercial property development in the EastRegion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading on providing timely and accurate management reporting information for your scheme portfolio, which includes joint ventures, s106 and land led projects.
- Acting as the principal finance representative at monthly scheme progress meetings and influence scheme outcomes
- Proactively supporting the regional Head of Development Finance & Analysis in reviewing commercial investment appraisals for proposed acquisitions, conducting financial due diligence, advising the Development team on deal structures, and drafting investmentpapers
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a dynamic and engaging qualified Accountant (or equivalent level of experience) with recent investment appraisal/business case and financial modelling experience.
You will have excellent communication skills and should be confident dealing with multiple stakeholders, presenting financial information and influencing decisions.
To succeed in this role, you will need to build and maintain strong relationships between the Development and Finance directorates.
Where will you work?
We offer hybrid working arrangements with the expectation that you will be based in the office two to three days per week.
