The Role
Our Small Works department is a fast-paced environment delivering Mechanical, Electrical and building fabric projects though a mix of self-delivery via our engineering resource and specialist supply chain partners for multiple clients across all sectors.
The Supervisors form part of a team delivering technical knowledge and a high-quality installation with a diverse team of staff and contractors throughout the UK.
As a working supervisor spending time both planning and installing, your role will be primarily focused on the smaller value, quick response projects where plant replacement, upgrades or new installations are required.
You will be responsible for a small evolving delivery team of engineers providing a quick response with the flexibility and technical skills to meet the demands or our clients.
You and your team will survey, cost, win, and install multiple projects autonomously and need to ensure you are able to focus and deliver excellence to our clients in a pressured environment.
All projects must be delivered in line with Integral's policies and processes, delivering client satisfaction though the work undertaken and you will demonstrate and accomplish project objectives through costing and planning activities; evaluating implementation and progressing the successful delivery.
Ensuring quality and efficient delivery of your projects and the performance of your staff and contractors. Compliance to H&S legislation including CDM. Creation of Risk and method statement, Client and stakeholder expectations. Time management, Planning, Communications, Project delivery, Quality, Auditing, Profit & loss, training, resource forecasting, team meetings and communications
- Surveying and scoping works required
- Carrying out Installation works
- Producing estimates for materials and labour
- Coordination of Staff and contractors
- H&S compliance and permit control
- Coordination of apprentices
- Supporting development, training and upskilling of the staff
- Quality audits on engineers and subcontractors
- Following all HR procedures
- Technical guidance
- Client Liaison
- Workload review and planning
- Industry relevant qualifications (trade qualifications) or experience
- IOSH or equivalent H+S training.
- Competent working knowledge of M&E and/or Fabric disciplines
- Sound level of administration and organisational skills
- Relevant supervisory experience.
- Experience of performance management
- Computer literate Word, Excel, Outlook
