The Role:


  • This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a Charities Managing Associate to join the firm's vibrant office in Newcastle, with hybrid working in place
  • You will advise a broad range of charities and social enterprises, from community interest companies and notforprofits to incorporated & unincorporated charities and charitable organisations
  • As such, you will manage a diverse caseload, including governance & compliance issues, fundraising, mergers, employment, joint working, commercial structures and property matters
  • As a Managing Associate, you will also closely mentor junior members of the team and offer constructive training to support their development
  • This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda the firm are succession planning and keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers, providing you with the platform for future partnership
  • An experienced Charities Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE
  • Strong business development capabilities
  • Firstclass communication and an entrepreneurial flair
