Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,800 people in the UK.

BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including many training services. As the company grows we have a need to expand our current Training Capability in the Fixed Wing domain. This is an exciting time to join a growing team of training experts.


Integrated Planning and Training Scheduling Specialists within Boeing provide a vital service in our drive and determination to provide mission critical solutions to the Defence and Security sector.

As a member of the E-7 Training Team at RAF Lossiemouth, you will perform a spearheading role in the successful implementation, and through-life maintenance, of a project, of critical importance to our Company, Defence and the security of our customers.

Working alongside the P-8 Planning and Scheduling Team, you will aid integration of all aspects of E-7 Training Operations in the Atlantic Building.


From working with instructors and course designers to implement the busy training programme in the classroom, to liaising with the wider station personnel to facilitate synthetic and airborne training events, you will play a critical part in ensuring all stakeholders needs are met.

The role


Reporting to the E-7 Training Delivery Manager, the E-7 Integrated Planning and Training Scheduling Specialists are responsible for the daily and long term resource allocation to aid the smooth running of the training centre as part of 42 Squadron (P-8 and E-7 Operational Conversion Unit) and synthetic device resource for the Front Line (FL) Squadrons.

Specifically, that entails;

  • Scheduling of Customer requirements
  • Planning the mid and long term programme resource requirements in liaison with FL Squadrons
  • Learning Management System (LMS) staff and student account management
  • Assisting the Training Delivery Manager in resolving budget and human resourcerelated issues
  • Monitoring Instructor Certification and requalification requirements
  • Assisting with courseware version tracking
  • Production of local paperwork and documentation
  • Office administration (including but not limited to trainee liaison, access passes and visitor handling, office supplies and equipment/clothing orders,
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills:


  • As 'the shop window' of the training teams, you will have strong interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate with personnel from multiple skill areas, cultures and functions.
  • Skill and ability to: collect, organise and analyse data; summarise findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.

Preferred Background and Experience

  • Experience of any training environment where sophisticated planning and scheduling is required (not necessarily military training).
  • Experience in customer/collaborator facing roles.

This role is permanently based at our facility at RAF Lossiemouth. Remote/virtual working is not available for this position.
