Security Officer (Nights) - Supported Housing

We are a Limited Company friendly organisation.

Area for post vacancy:
Nottingham
We specialise in the provision of support, concierge and safeguarding services to providers of supported housing for vulnerable people.

This includes a variety of client groups such as young people, those suffering with mental health and homeless people as an example.

We are looking for people who have exceptional people skills and can demonstrate that they:

have great communication skills,

- are reliable, responsible and can remain professional and calm in all situations.
- are a good decision maker
- have empathy with a range of vulnerable people

The key aspects of the role include:

Rate of pay £ £12.00 per hour (dependant on contractual arrangements).
Working as a security officer primarily based within a 12bed supported housing project. You will also be required to monitor another 6bed supported housing project next door.
Be familiar and alert to safeguarding issues and concerns.
Monitoring activity in and out of the buildings.
Managing any challenging or antisocial behaviour using skills in conflict management and deescalation techniques.
Leading on any emergencies that may arise including liaising with emergency services as appropriate.
Carrying out various building patrols throughout the duration of the shift.
Maintaining and recording all incidents or important occurrences and carry out effective handovers.

A valid SIA (security guard or door supervisor) license and Standard DBS certificate - essential:

excellent communication skills

- a solid work ethic and ability to always remain vigilant.
- a high level of personal integrity
- the right to work within the United Kingdom.

Salary:
£10.90-£12.00 per hour
