The Role


The Trunk Driver is responsible for ensuring that goods are transported and delivered between our Luton and Newcastle sites accurately and on time.

They act a brand ambassador and give excellent customer service when delivering items. The hours of work will start at 2100 Sunday to Thursday.


Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering customer orders and collecting stock from suppliers whilst ensuring that products are handled and stored according to GDP during transport.
  • Identify cold chain products or controlled drugs upon receipt and store them appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with the Falsified Medicines Directive by reporting any falsified medicines.
  • Store controlled drugs according to the storage requirements specific by the Home Office.
  • Record any Customer Complaints received and forward the information to the Quality Assurance department for investigation.

Skills and Attributes Required

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Full driving licence (required).
  • Secondary school education in Maths and English.
  • Experience in working in a regulated environment.
