We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Compliance Officer to join our Transport Team based at our Distribution Centre in Bedford.

This will be working Sunday to Thursday 6am to 2pm.

Within this role you will support our operation by ensuring all aspects of driver and fleet compliance is adhered to.

If you have transport knowledge and are interested in working towards a Transport Manager position, this could be the role for you

Role and Responsibilities:

Ensure all colleagues comply with B&M's policies and procedures
Ensure all aspects of driver and fleet compliance is adhered to, along with daily, weekly and monthly audits
Daily fleet and yard audits to confirm vor, service, mot and defects
Ensure the service planner is maintained up to date and any changes reflected and communicated to the wider network
Weekly compliance dashboard as well as reference period reporting is shared with the rest of the transport team
Purchase/Fuel order management & system maintenance
Transport knowledge required (Transport Laws)
Be and excellent communicator both written and oral
Transport Manager CPC National/International (Desirable)
Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Be able to influence at all levels
Promote strong colleague engagement
Be flexible with a 'Can Do Attitude'
